Orbital designs custom L-band combiners and dividers for SATCOM customers around the world. Our combiners integrate multiple L-band signals, and our dividers feed one L-band signal to multiple systems.
Conventional L-band dividers do not handle DC power or 10 MHz, so we have developed a solution that allows the DC and 10 MHz to be removed from the signal before it’s split – and then re-added afterwards. This way the signal isn’t lost or distorted by the divider.
If you need a custom L-band combiner or divider, please contact us and we’ll build one to your specifications.

L-Band Combiner Multiplexer
Combines multiple L-band signals while preserving both DC and 10 MHz signals to the BUC. This unit can be used as a combiner or divider (replace the BUC with an LNB and it automatically works as a divider).
2-Way Combiner
Uses 10 MHz from one of the modems and inserts high power DC to a BUC.
2-Way Combiner 2
Passes around both the 10 MHz reference and DC power from one of a pair of modems, while combining the L-band signals to feed a BUC.
2-Way Combiner with Master Oscillator
Inserts DC from a separate power supply and uses a master oscillator to discipline your BUC.
2-Way Combiner with Precision Oscillator
Inserts DC from a separate power supply and uses a precision oscillator to discipline your BUC.
4-Way Combiner
Uses the DC power and 10 MHz signals from one of your four modems and passes them around your combiner. Combines the L-band signals and re-inserts the DC power and 10 MHz.
4-Way Combiner with High Power DC
Uses the DC power and 10 MHz signals from one of your four modems and passes them around your combiner. Combines the L-band signals and re-inserts the 10 MHz along with an external high power DC source.
4-Way Combiner with Master Oscillator
Uses the DC power and 10 MHz signals from one of your four modems and passes them around your combiner. Combines the L-band signals and uses an external master oscillator to discipline your BUC.
