MT433 - MuxTee with 433 MHz M & C  Channel    

Orbital Research introduces a System Interface Product (SIP) that adds a data channel capability to our conventional Mux/Tee design. The MT 433 and the MT 433 Modem enable M & C information to be transmitted between the indoor and the outdoor unit multiplexed with DC, reference, and L-band IF signals. This eliminates the need for separate M & C cable connections. Retrofitting of legacy systems is enabled over the existing IFL, resulting in the requirement of no new cables, no trenching, and no civils costs.

The Orbital solution is a modular plug and play system that enables the modulation of any M & C signal scheme by the Orbital MT433 Modem onto the existing IFL without noise or interference of any kind through the 433 MHz channel of the MT 433 Mux/Tee. Any system sensor that accepts digital inputs and outputs can be connected to the MT 433 for communication between the IDU and the ODU. This can include sensors for temperature, lock, gain functions, antenna position and control, redundant switch control and status, and even a talk-back channel if needed for verbal communication with technicians at the dish.

MT 433 Mux/Tees have all of the standard features of Orbital Mux/Tees, which include multiplexing or extraction of L-band, 10 MHz reference, and DC power.
